The Posthuman Future:
Biotech Theoretical Biology:
Ω The Post Human is the study of future evolution. It imagines an environment that is destroyed where humanity is not extinct but evolved. The word Cyberborg is being introduced, here. This website is dedicated to advancing some of the informed thinking in the field of biotechnology (and similar) while ignoring much of the mumbo jumbo.

What does "posthuman" mean?
photocredit: englishdroid
"It describes a sentient being that started out as a human or as a mind with a human way of thinking - and then by use of technology changes into someone who is no longer human. Such posthuman beings do not exist currently, therefore any more detailed description of what they would look like or how they would think and behave is pure speculation."

"Posthumans could be a symbiosis of human and artificial intelligence, or uploaded consciousnesses, or the result of making many smaller but cumulatively profound technological augmentations to a biological human, i.e. a cyborg.
Some examples of the latter are redesigning the human organism using advanced nanotechnology or radical enhancement using some combination of technologies such as genetic engineering, psychopharmacology, life extension therapies, neural interfaces, advanced information management tools, memory enhancing drugs, wearable or implanted computers, and cognitive techniques.[1]"
